1930's Hair Style
Yesterday I did a set for a 30's style hair style with finger waves in front and pin curls in the back. Here are the results. I think wave clips would have been better but I had seen a tutorial on using the duck bill clips so I thought I would give them a go. I did get some waves but I think it could have been a bit more wavy since my hair is very straight I may need to purchase the clips one of these days.

Fingerwaves can be tricky. I did a wig styling class this year and the way that we were taught was to make tons of small pin curls in lines varying in direction (eg. First row forwards 2nd row backwards). It took for ever but it looked great when finished.
